The changes within the marketing and communications industry over the past decade have been equally swift, exciting and unforgiving. Ten years ago, Facebook and Twitter were certainly not household names, Denver had two newspapers, the iPhone was just launched (with a 2.0 MP camera and no video capabilities), Instagram and Snapchat were still years from existence and Periscope was just a thing on a submarine.
A lot can change in 10 years.
We are currently experiencing a dramatic shift in user behavior toward video content. Recent statistics indicate that shift is even more aggressive than most of us might believe:
- Video is projected to claim more than 80% of all web traffic by 2019
- Adding a video to marketing emails can boost click-through rates by 200-300 percent
- Embedding videos in landing pages can increase conversion rates by 80%
- 90% of customers report that product videos help them to make purchasing decisions
We’re no strangers to video production at GFM and CenterTable. Three years ago, we welcomed a young start-up video production company named Fourth Wall Productions into our building as strategic partners. That partnership has thrived – from animated projects to extremely successful social media content, to live streaming capabilities. We’re excited to announce that CenterTable has acquired Fourth Wall Productions and will be offering a suite of video services in-house under the CenterTable Studios name.
Incorporating additional video content and strategies into our integrated approach to digital marketing continues to be a growing need for our clients and their customers – so investing more resources in video content is a no brainer. Adding Travis Bockenstedt, Armand Piecuch and Justin Szykowny to the CenterTable team means more creative content options for our clients integrated seamlessly into web projects, digital advertising campaigns, social media strategies, and search engine marketing efforts.
We’re thrilled to see our team grow along with our strategic capabilities – continuing to push the envelope of what a creative agency looks like in today’s marketplace, and continuing to redefine creative marketing campaigns.
