Funding Priorities & Grant Eligibility

Grant Funding Priorities

We believe that giving back expands our passion for life and connects us to the people and organizations that need assistance the most. Here at GroundFloor Media (GFM) we have a long giving history that has focused on three primary categories:

  • Child Abuse and Neglect
  • Childhood Hunger Relief
  • Youth Behavioral Health

In alignment with our giving focus, grant funding will be made available to existing, qualified nonprofit organizations focused on directly supporting the health and wellness of at-risk or neglected youth between the ages of 3 and 13 years in the Denver Metro area.

Nonprofit Grant Eligibility

Grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations that are launching a new program, trying a new method/approach, or expanding an existing innovative program that directly supports at-risk youth.

Grants are typically only awarded to nonprofit organizations whose local annual operating budget is between $250,000 and $5 million. However, in some instances, an exception will be made.

The Get Grounded Foundation will consider awarding grants to local chapters of national organizations that are not a separate 501(c)(3).

To Apply for Grant Funding

To apply for grant funding, download and submit the Get Grounded Foundation grant application. The deadline for submitting grant applications is 5:00 p.m. MT on Friday, April 21, 2017. A volunteer committee made up of individuals from GFM and the Colorado foundation community will review all grant applications. Recipients will be announced in mid-May.

Grant Reporting

Grant recipients will be expected to submit a report summary form to share results of the grant program.
