Community Involvement & Volunteering

GroundFloor Media Community Outreach

We are proud of our dedication to giving back, and we are committed to continuing to invest at least 15 percent of our profits back into the community each year through cash contributions, pro bono public relations services, reduced billing rates for nonprofit clients, and staff time volunteering with various community organizations and causes.

Community involvement and volunteering are simply part of the way we do business around here. Although we believe our efforts make us a better business, we know the real value is that it provides us all with a better community.

Volunteering & Board Service

One of our favorite ways to connect with each other – and our community – is through our team service days. Some of our team service projects have taken place at Colfax Community Network, Feed Denver, Food Bank of the Rockies, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, Project Angel Heart and Judi’s House.

In any given week, you’ll also find our GFM team members serving individually on the boards of community organizations, leading key committees within those organizations and getting their hands dirty volunteering their time to help people in need.

Some of the organizations in which our team members have recently been involved include AfricAid, ALS Rocky Mountain Chapter, Bicycle Colorado, Bowdoin Alumni Fund, Colorado Academy Alumni Board, Colorado Business Committee for the Arts, Colorado Outward Bound School, Cooking Matters Colorado, Denver Art Museum, Denver City Lax, Denver Foundation, Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Denver Rescue Mission, Denver Urban Gardens, Denver StartUp Week, Downtown Denver Partnership, dZi Foundation, Early Milestones of Colorado, Fireside Elementary School, Friends of AirLife, Havern School, Jeremy Bloom's Wish of a Lifetime Foundation, Metro Caring, Metro Denver Sports Commission, Most Precious Blood School, PawsCO, PlatteForum, Project Angel Heart, Ralston Elementary School, SafeHouse Denver, Special Olympics, Summit Middle School, Teller Elementary School, Tennyson Center for Children, The Art Underground, Trout Unlimited and Women’s Regional Network of Southeast Asia.

  • Denver’s Road Home, which supports Denver’s efforts to end homelessness
  • Global Livingston Institute, which cultivates a more global understanding of poverty and its impact on fostering more healthy communities
  • Habitat For Humanity of Metro Denver, a nonprofit housing organization that seeks to build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing
  • Jeremy Bloom's Wish of a Lifetime Foundation, which fosters respect and appreciation for seniors by granting life-enriching wishes
