GroundFloor Media Get Connected 2011In 2008, GFM launched Get Connected as a series of marketing seminars geared toward the local business community. These invitation-only events provide an opportunity to gather in a peer-oriented environment to learn about new trends in the industry, discuss challenges and opportunities, and network with one another.

In 2011, we held two Get Connected events that combined big ideas and creativity:

BikerMay 18: Colorado Business Committee for the Arts “On My Own Time’ art show and reception, featured paintings, photography, sculpture and fine crafts by GFM employees, friends and family. The winning pieces from our show advance to the CBCA city-wide exhibit in November 2011.

The RunnerMarch 2: Breakfast Watch Party for the annual TED Global Conference “TED2011: The Rediscovery of Wonder” in Long Beach, Calif. The SOLD OUT event was an annual gathering that featured short talks by storytellers, explorers, pioneers and visionaries from around the world.
