Agency to Spearhead Public Relations Efforts for The Denver Office of Economic Development, The Peloton, Sherrill Tree and Climbing Supply and BaseCamp Communities

Boulder, CO – (September 30, 2005) – GroundFloor Media, Inc. (GFM), a Colorado- based public relations firm, recently announced that it has added the Denver Office of Economic Development, The Peloton, Sherrill Tree and Climbing Supply, and BaseCamp Communities to its client base and will spearhead all public relations efforts on their behalf.

The Peloton is a 390-unit, $142 million dollar mixed-use condominium community being developed by Bancoft Capital in Boulder at the site of the former Exabyte offices between 33rd and 38th on Arapahoe Ave. The 440,000-square-foot complex will sit on 10 acres of land highlighted by walking paths and courtyards. GFM will conduct a regional media relations campaign for the project, which is estimated to be completed in 2007.

Sherrill Tree and Climbing Supply is a leading distributor of tree care products, including recreational climbing and safety gear. Based in Greensboro, NC, Sherrill distributes and sells products online and through a series of catalogs. This fall, the company is launching a first-of-its-kind magalog, which will feature educational information and resources for tree climbers, as well as showcase the latest tree climbing products. GFM is launching a national public relations campaign to promote Sherrill and the fast-growing sport of recreational tree climbing.

BaseCamp Communities is a Denver-based company launching a new category of affordable housing that combines land lease options with permanent foundation homes. Using techniques such as off-site construction, the company is able to deliver high quality housing quickly and affordably. GFM will carry out a local and regional media relations campaign around the model, which is designed to create home ownership opportunities in states like Colorado where high land prices push many people out of the housing market.

The goal of the Denver Office of Economic Development is to create a local environment that stimulates balanced growth through job creation, business assistance, housing options and neighborhood redevelopment. The consolidation of the Business Development, Workforce Development, Small Business Opportunity, and Housing & Neighborhood Development divisions into one cohesive agency allows OED to better assist Denver area businesses and residents in starting, growing and managing their careers, homes and business.
