GroundFloor Media Wins PRSA Gold, Silver Pick Awards

Agency Recognized for Outstanding Work with Four Local Clients

Boulder, CO – (November 1, 2005) – GroundFloor Media, Inc. (GFM), a Colorado-based public relations agency, was awarded two Gold Pick awards and two Silver Pick awards for campaigns developed and executed for local clients. The awards were presented by the Colorado chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) on September 22 at the Walnut Foundry in Denver.

GFM received the only Gold Pick in the crisis communications category for a campaign conducted on behalf of the Tennyson Center for Children, the largest combined residential and day treatment facility for children ages 5-14 in the Rocky Mountain region. The campaign created community awareness around the sale and impending closure of the Center and ultimately contributed to keeping it open.

GFM was awarded another Gold Pick in the media relations category for work done for Conceptions Women's Health & Fertility Specialists, a Littleton-based fertility clinic. Through a regional campaign, GFM helped increase Conceptions' patient consultations more than 100 percent in 2004. The campaign created awareness of Conceptions' physicians and services throughout the Rocky Mountain region while educating the public about available fertility treatments.

Additionally, the agency received Silver Pick awards for a media kit developed for Denver-based Portus Funds and a national media relations campaign planned and executed for The Wild Divine Project, based in Eldorado Springs, Colo.
