GroundFloor Media Continues to Expand; Hires Seasoned PR Manager

DENVER, CO – (March 14, 2006) – GroundFloor Media, Inc. (GFM), a premiere Denver-based public relations firm, hired Carissa McCabe, APR, as senior public relations manager. Lester brings more than nine years of experience in nonprofit and health-related public relations and will help drive the agency's growing base of consumer accounts.

Prior to joining GFM, Lester was vice president of marketing and communications for Morris Animal Foundation (MAF) in Englewood, Colo. MAF is the largest nongovernmental, nonprofit source of funding for companion animal and wildlife health studies in the world. At MAF, Lester oversaw all internal communications, marketing and direct mail fundraising efforts, working closely with key media and driving external communications programs.

Lester has been chair and a member of numerous committees within the Public Relations Society of America Colorado Chapter and has served on its board of directors. She also volunteers her time to tutor a middle school-aged student through the University of Denver's Bridge Project.
