GroundFloor Media to Promote Two of Colorado's Most Popular Events

Denver PR firm to lead promotional efforts for The 2007 Denver Polo Classic Presented by Avanade and the 2008 Colorado Garden & Home Show

DENVER, CO – (May 22, 2007) – GroundFloor Media, Inc. (GFM), a Denver-based public relations firm, has been hired to promote two of Colorado's most well-known charitable events: The 2007 Denver Polo Classic presented by Avanade and the 2008 Colorado Garden & Home Show. GFM will initiate aggressive and proactive media relations campaigns to increase event attendance and raise awareness for the grant recipients supported by both events.

"We are so excited to have the opportunity to promote two of Colorado's most popular events and the fantastic programs they support," said Laura Love, president and founder of GroundFloor Media. "The Denver Polo Classic and the Colorado Garden & Home Show each offer unique opportunities for Coloradans to enjoy themselves with family and friends while also helping our neighbors."

Taking place July 20-22 at the exclusive Polo Reserve Development, The 2007 Denver Polo Classic Presented by Avanade is a weekend of exciting entertainment that benefits children's charities through the Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation. Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, patrons and guests of The 2007 Denver Polo Classic Presented by Avanade will enjoy exquisite wines and champagnes, a sampling of the region's finest beers, gourmet food from some of the finest restaurants in Denver and of course, exciting professional polo matches. Now in its 20th year, the Denver Polo Classic has raised more than $2 million for disadvantaged children and the charities that serve them.

The annual Colorado Garden & Home Show at the Colorado Convention Center is the Rocky Mountain region's largest, oldest and most prestigious consumer garden and home improvement show west of the Mississippi. Taking place in February 2008, the 49th Annual Colorado Garden & Home Show is presented by Colorado Garden Show Inc., a nonprofit corporation that provides funds for horticultural-related grants and scholarships and events for the benefit of the greater Denver area and the state of Colorado.

"Many Coloradans don't know that each year, money raised from the Colorado Home & Garden Show supports horticultural and related activities throughout Colorado," said Jim Fricke, Colorado Garden Show, Inc. executive director. "We look forward to working with GroundFloor Media to help raise awareness of the more than $2 million that has been awarded for horticultural projects and scholarships."
