GroundFloor Media to Spearhead Public Relations Efforts for Colorado Morton’s The Steakhouse

DENVER, CO – (September 4, 2008) – GroundFloor Media, a Denver-based public relations agency, has been selected as the agency of record for Morton’s The Steakhouse in Colorado.

Morton’s The Steakhouse is the world's largest operator of company-owned upscale steakhouses. Morton’s steakhouses have remained true to the founders’ original vision of combining generous portions of high-quality food prepared to exacting standards with exceptional service. There are two Morton’s in the Denver area, one downtown and another in the Denver Tech Center.

GroundFloor Media’s experienced team of food and beverage industry experts will work with Morton’s The Steakhouse to build its brand visibility and enhance its partnerships with charitable organizations in Colorado. Specifically in 2008, GroundFloor Media is helping Morton’s to promote its 30th anniversary, which is being celebrated nationally with the “30 Wishes for 30 Years” program. During the anniversary celebration, the $19.78 Make-A-Wish Prime Sirloin Burger (priced in honor of the year Morton’s was founded) will grace the menu with $5 of the proceeds from each burger sold going toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

To reach the national goal of raising funds to help grant 30 wishes, GroundFloor Media will also work with Morton's steakhouses in Denver and the Denver Tech Center to promote exciting special events in November featuring Morton's legendary cuisine, hospitality and world-class wines to raise funds for the children served by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
