GroundFloor Media’s Get Connected event offers expert advice on how to communicate difficult news during critical times
DENVER, CO – (February 12, 2009) – GroundFloor Media, Inc., a Denver-based public relations agency, today announced the initial event of Get Connected 2009. Launched in early 2008, the quarterly expert panel discussions are designed for senior-level communication and marketing leaders to gather in a peer-oriented environment to learn about trends in the industry, discuss challenges and opportunities, and network with one another.
The expert panelists featured on Feb. 18 include Gil Rudawsky, deputy metro business editor of the Rocky Mountain News; Lynn Kimbrough, communications director, Denver District Attorney’s Office; Ken Keymer, former president and CEO of VICORP Restaurants Inc. and former president of Noodles & Company; and Jim D. Leonard of Faegre & Benson LLP. The interactive discussion will focus on communicating difficult news to employees, shareholders, customers and the media during challenging times.
