Denver-based communications agency deepens team’s technology, consumer product, BtoB and social media expertise
DENVER, April 27, 2010 - GroundFloor Media Communications (www.groundfloormedia.com), a Denver-based public relations agency, announced the addition of Alexis Anzalone and Kimmie Greene to the agency’s highly acclaimed team of seasoned public relations professionals. Anzalone and Greene bring a broad range of industry experience in business, consumer and technology PR, as well as social media.
Anzalone joins the team as social media/public relations manager. Most recently, Anzalone worked at Formula, a boutique public relations agency in San Diego. At Formula, Anzalone managed both traditional and social media programs for major brands across numerous industries including hospitality, natural foods, consumer electronics, automotive, industrial and aviation lubricants, audio and video production equipment, and software solutions. She was instrumental to Kashi Company’s launch of its first frozen entrée line; managed countless hardware and software launches for Avid Technology; and directed marketing communications for the automotive, aviation and industrial segments of ConocoPhillips Lubricants. Anzalone also managed ongoing social media programs for consumer and B2B clients that included Pinkberry, Moxie Interactive and Barney & Barney LLC, in addition to utilizing social media to launch a major software upgrade for Sorenson Media, the global leader in video encoding and compression technology. Greene serves as senior public relations manager and brings experience from working within a wide range of companies including nonprofit organizations, government agencies and multi-national corporations. Most recently, Greene worked for Level 3 Communications Inc., one of the largest telecom network operators in the world. In this role she managed media and analyst relations for new product launches as well as financial earnings and corporate acquisitions in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to Level 3, Greene combined her experience in technology with a longstanding background in education as director of marketing and community relations for College in Colorado, a public-private partnership of the Colorado Department of Higher Education.
