Avanti Food & Beverage Looks to GroundFloor Media for Grand Opening Strategic Communications Program

DENVER, June 9, 2015 - GroundFloor Media (GFM), a Denver-based marketing communications agency, today announced that it was selected as the agency partner to promote the highly anticipated grand opening of Avanti Food & Beverage.

GFM first began working with the Avanti co-founders in 2014 to execute a phased strategic media relations program designed to increase awareness of the chef-driven incubator concept among established and up-and-coming chefs and restaurateurs. On the heels of a business and consumer-focused media relations effort that yielded coverage in local media outlets such as The Denver Post, Denver Eater, 5280 magazine and Westword, GFM will help Avanti celebrate its opening with Denver-area media and influencers this month.

Avanti Food & Beverage is Denver’s first collective eatery and restaurant incubator concept. Located at 3200 Pecos Street, it will include seven self-contained eateries anchored by two bars offering craft beer—including 10 Dogfish Head Brewery taps and 10 rotating taps dedicated to showcasing the best of Colorado’s craft breweries, wine and unique cocktails. The Avanti model allows both emerging and established chefs and restaurateurs to test concepts in a controlled environment that costs a fraction of what it would take to launch a traditional brick and mortar restaurant.

“Avanti Food & Beverage is one of the most interesting ideas to hit Denver’s culinary scene in years, and it will offer the LoHi neighborhood one of the city’s most eccentric mixes of affordably priced, chef-inspired cuisine,” said Ramonna Robinson, president of GFM. “Our experience in the food & beverage and restaurant categories is extensive, and we are thrilled to be a part of bringing the concept to life for Colorado consumers.”

Avanti Food & Beverage is co-founded by experienced restaurateur Patrick O’Neill and
LoHi real estate investor Rob Hahn. Avanti was inspired by their experiences with chef-driven cuisines and markets in Europe and South America.

“Denver has one of the most interesting, progressive and respected restaurant scenes in the country, and the Avanti Food & Beverage concept will help the city continue to grow that reputation,” said O’Neill. “GroundFloor Media has proven to be a strong extension of our team during the initial phase of our development, and we are excited to harness the team’s trusted media and influencer relationships for our grand opening.”

About Avanti Food & Beverage

One collective space. Seven culinary options. Inspired by European markets and food truck roundups, we have created Avanti Food & Beverage, a modern day food hall in the LoHi neighborhood of Denver. Avanti is a culinary think-tank for chefs to create gourmet dishes at affordable prices. Seven, self contained “restaurants”, all different thematically, will be anchored by two large bars with a wide array of the best draft beer available, affordable wine and cocktails; paired with benchmark dishes. These restaurants will provide an opportunity for established chefs/restaurateurs to modify and enhance current concepts into more of a quick service model, and they will also enable up and coming chefs to establish and execute a concept for a fraction of the cost of a typical brick and mortar restaurant. In turn, Avanti is creating an incubator for chefs and restaurateurs; strength through a community of peers.
