GroundFloor Media Hires One and Promotes Two

Brooke Willard is new senior director of SEO, Kristina Reilly promoted to senior director of business operations and Carissa McCabe promoted to vice president

DENVER, August 20, 2015 - GroundFloor Media (GFM), a Denver-based marketing communications agency, today announced it hired Brooke Willard as senior director of search engine optimization (SEO), promoted Kristina Reilly to senior director of business operations and Carissa McCabe to vice president.

Joining the GFM team as a digital marketing strategist, Brooke Willard helps clients understand and leverage digital technology and platforms to raise their online visibility and reach their most important audiences. Prior to joining the GFM team, she managed social marketing, various website projects and email initiatives for Centura Health, a large nonprofit health care system, and worked with Denver Health, National Jewish Health and the American Liver Foundation. Willard earned a master’s degree in public relations & marketing from the University of Denver and bachelors’ degrees in psychology and communications from the University of Wisconsin.

Kristina Reilly was recently promoted to senior director of operations at GFM, and she specializes in blending agency operations with GFM’s public relations efforts. From overseeing accounting practices and IT efforts to supporting the agency’s marketing initiatives and business development efforts, she plays a strategic role in the agency's daily operations and future direction. Reilly joined the GFM team in 2005 after working for Metzger Associates, where she oversaw operations, and Cunningham Communication in Cambridge, Mass. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware, Ohio.

Carissa McCabe was promoted to vice president at GFM after nearly a decade at the agency. She provides strategic counsel to clients and focuses on consumer-facing media, social media, and crisis communication work. Prior to GFM, Carissa was vice president of marketing and communications for Morris Animal Foundation, the world’s largest private nonprofit foundation focused on veterinary research to improve the health and well-being of companion animals and wildlife. She earned a degree in technical journalism with an emphasis in public relations from Colorado State University.
