GroundFloor Media & CenterTable Blog

A few years ago, I wrote a blog post highlighting some of the best designed beer labels in Denver. Since then, the craft beer scene in Denver hasn’t shown significant signs of slowing down. As GroundFloor Media & CenterTable’s director of creative services and resident Certified Cicerone®, I especially enjoy seeing local Denver breweries sell quality beers with well-designed branding and labels. I’ve listed some personal favorites below:

Ratio Beerworks

Ratio’s taproom is gorgeous, and their bottles are equally cool. Though they currently have a limited selection in stores, the bottles they do sell burst with the same hip energy that people have come to expect from one of RiNo’s most popular breweries.

TRVE Brewing Co.

Denver’s heavy metal brewery not only serves up amazing beers, but has refined its devilish look and feel to create a suite of bottles and cans that is unequivocally its own. Detailed illustrations and gothic text adorn the black backgrounds of TRVE’s beautifully creepy beer labels.

Cerebral Brewing

Cerebral makes some of my favorite beer in town, but it’s also home to some of the coolest beer labels. All of Cerebral’s bottles include an iconic illustration, color-coordinated bars and a wonderful script font. The bottles are fun on their own, but when viewed as a set, they fit together seamlessly thanks to the repeated design motifs.

Baere Brewing

Baere’s look has always been approachable thanks to its hand-lettered logo. The brewery’s labels are equally inviting thanks to limited color palettes, cream-colored backgrounds and earthy illustrations. I love the use of the raspberry shades and bear silhouette on the label for Frambruin (a dark sour aged on raspberries). It also happens to be one of my favorite beers.
