Carissa McCabe, APR
During the course of her 20-year career, Carissa has specialized in consumer-facing media, digital strategy, crisis planning and issues management. She’s provided strategic counsel to clients including Starbucks, Be a Smart Ash, Quiznos, Children’s Hospital Colorado and Qdoba Mexican Grill. Her talent with community connections was demonstrated when she identified and built a city-wide training opportunity to utilize GroundFloor Media’s Online War Room for healthcare organizations and first responders to test strategies for a theoretical Ebola catastrophe. Previously, she was VP of marketing and communications at Morris Animal Foundation.
Results-oriented, big-picture thinker
Carissa volunteers at her children’s school and truly enjoys cooking for her family. Since becoming a parent, food that’s both delicious and healthy has become a passion. She loves exploring recipes online and testing them out in her kitchen. Carissa and her family love to explore the sights around Denver and beyond – but travel has taken on a new twist with two kiddos in tow. Nonetheless, she remains curious about the world out there and endeavors to explore it whenever she can.
